Recently, Monaghan Company Realtor, Jacqui Komo Aurich, graduated from the 2016 class of Leadership Clemson. Leadership Clemson is a program designed to offer a close look into the Clemson community, how it works, and the challenges it faces. Meeting once a month for six months, participants tour local non-profits, services and businesses, as well as engage in discussions with government official, educational representatives and local program directors. Leadership Clemson also encourages its members to undertake leadership opportunities in the area and to give back to the community.
Leadership Clemson recently released some exciting news from this graduating class regarding their project.
“The 2016 class chose Helping Hands as their project, specifically, they set a goal to raise enough money to purchase all 40 beds for the new facility currently being built in Central. We are pleased to announce that the class raised $19,519.00, more than enough to cover the cost of the beds and raising the 2016 class to the #1 spot for most money raised by any Leadership Clemson Class. Special Thanks to the Clemson Community Foundation and all other donors who made this possible.”
Congratulations to Jacqui for completing the class and for the success of the project!
